Would it be possible to modify the lobby so a player wont be able to "ready" without him having the map being played, by name and by hash?
I had it SO often that we finally managed to start a 8 player game or so only to find 2 dropped because they didnt have the map...
Also, there are a few cases of maps out there that were in different versions with the same name,ect. There is currently no way at all to see if all have the correct one but starting up and waiting for the first desync...
So please change the lobby so its visible if people actually have the correct map.

But having that in the normal client would be nice. The people who accedently start the game without the map are usual not the poeple who read the forums and use altaclient (becouse they arn't new to the game).

Addition:
Make the client cache the minimap of the maps, too (as with the hash this will be failsave).
Currently its absolutely intolerable that some maps freeze the client for 20 seconds or so while it builts the minimap, especially if you just want to browse through the maplist.
I mean, the "more maps" window does it just fine, so why doesnt the rest of the starter?
