Xect Vs. Mynn's current license status is:
1. Xenoclone is willing to have his content released under the GPL (the vast majority of Xect Vs. Mynn content is his)
2. I am willing to release all my contributions under the GPL.
3. I believe Masse is wiling to release his contributions under the GPL. (I'll have to check on this. Several of the new cursors are based on Masse's concept cursors)
What is left to do is make sure that there is no leftover copyrighted content, no sounds, weapons, or textures. I've done this to the best of my ability, but I don't know OTA that well. Would any old-time modders be willing to look the Xect Vs. Mynn files over and verify that there is no OTA content left?
Then I can formally put the GPL on the mod with more confidence.

If any enterprizing uniteers want to contribut to Xect Vs. Mynn, there is a big thing and a few small things:
1. The Xect need a navy.
2. The both sides need level 2 anti air structures, the Xect need level 2 mobile anti air.
3. Both sides could use some level 2 structures.
Just make sure the unit content can be released under the GPL. I already have weapons, so we're talking skinned model + script, preferably in s3o format. I can do some rudimentary scripting if the model is not complex, though I'd love to see transforming units, or other units that take advantage of Springs scripting possibilities.
The mod is already playable and enjoyable, but frankly it is not at the level of OTA based mods yet. So help get it there so we can have the warm fuzzy feeling that comes from compliace with copyright laws, without sacrificing play.
