XTA. Then proably AA.

I don't know why i like XTA more then AA... there are ceartin things that bother me... and i find XTA a litthe more simplefied, but much fun. Kinda like an OTA'r refusing to convert to Spring. But with more of a reson, since i have to adapt a new style of play i found cool but weird and sometimesstupid!:O

But maybe i'm not used to it yet...

Oh, and anyone who say's anything about how "Xta? just build brawlers man" Is getting a fork in their eye.

for obvious reasons I like gundam annhilation... but as far as the other mods go, AA is my favorite so far.

Caydr did a lot of work in his conversion and it shows. I really like what he has done with it. the scaling really makes the mod. Also, even though I am still not fond of some of it, it is still really balanced.

As far as the others go....

World domination still has bugs in it, swta really just isn't my thing and final frontier is not completed. I have not played XTA, because I didn't like it. The rest I have just not gotten around to.

First I was an XTA man, and couldn't find a better mod. Then I was finally convinced to play AA and haven't looked back since. =)

same to me but i do look back, both mods are diferent and have their style along with advantages and disadvantages.

I've always liked UberHack best. I've been playing UberHack since version 2.0 came out, and I don't think I'll ever like the feel of other OTA-based mods nearly as much as UberHack. Unfortunately, I never see UH games on TASClient. I play Absolute Annihilation the most, it is very common and it is a fine mod as well. I also like World Domination and Final Frontier, these are good mods as they are, and have the potential to become even better.

The sad thing about this is that the best mod, OTA, will never become popular, because most of the people who appreciate OTA balance are quite happy with OTA, and so have no real need to come to Spring.

I liked XTA because I was really good at it. It seemed like being ruthless was more important than being strategic, which is enjoyable for a while but makes the game very repetitive. AA imo involves more strategy rather than just skill like XTA does, and I love the way things cost a tonne of energy. That's a real weakness of XTA, energy is more something you have to get, rather than something that is a real challenge to get.

EDIT: TLL and SWTA are two really solid, enjoyable mods imo. WD has way too many units, plus the balance isn't to my tastes, and I hate FF for so many reasons that I can't be bothered to name them here. UH is good, but AA or TLL is better so I don't play it anymore. I've been wanting to play Gundam for a while now, but haven't been able to find any games. *Sighs*

What annoys me is how people behaved towards XTA and not towards others.

And .. they were right up until some versions ago. But i don't see them complaining about super uber planes the other mods have.

Yes, that's right, people used to complain about everything in XTA and, sudenly, in another mod everything is wonderland.
