What is up with downloading maps and games?

I just had to re-install Spring. I downloaded some maps and games off springfiles, and put them both in their respective folders. They aren't showing up when I try to start a game in the SpringLobby, however. Also, if I download a map from the lobby itself, the games do not go to my games and maps folders in the program files, and I am not sure where they are going. I just wanted to know how to get the maps and games i downloaded off spring files to work.

update springlobby (currently 0.214), then it should work!

Whenever i try to update, it says Couldn't clean up C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Spring\update. Then it makes me download an update in a zip folder, and when I unpack it in the Spring folder nothing happens.

which version of springlobby are you using?

for a manual update download http://springlobby.info/windows/springl ... -win32.zip and overwrite the contents of the current springlobby dir.
