Please help me

Post by Alnor »

Greetings everyone.
I have downloaded TA Spring today, and I.. I don't have words how to express my thanks FOR THOSE WHO MADE IT. It is awesome.. It is the game I was looking for some years. Thanks you!

But still, I have some questions:
How to activate a mod? For example, I have downloaded a mod, put it in the mods directory, and what next?

And how to play Core forces?

I would be very glad if you can answer me.

Play Spring on multiplayer, you'll be able to easily use mods and other sides.

Connect to the multiplayer lobby.
From there, you'll be able to, easily, play single player with bots and such, try other mods, etc. You won't be tied to playing only against players.
Also, you'll be able to talk to people to ask them things.

If you don't have internet to connect to the lobby, ..., the multiplayer lobby doesn't work «singleplayer» yet but it is expected to work ... sometime.

There is a discussion of nearly the same question http://taspring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3282

If you want to play single player and use all the features the client program has to offer, download http://www.fileuniverse.com/?p=showitem&ID=1308 and extract the files into your Spring folder, then run the LanServer.bat, once that's running, start the client program, go the Options and change the server address to localhost. then connect and it'll act as though you're connected to the regular server (minus the people). It would be nice if it was built into the lobby though.
