As far as linux goes:Benjie the Tech Support Guy Says wrote:START>RUN>CMD>
ipconfig /renew if you get an error message that sais "an operation was attempted on something that is not a socket" then
netsh winsock reset catalog then reboot your computer.

There is a port for linux that doesn't have networking yet, and it will work in wine.
Yesterday a friend and me tested the ported code in a network game. I was running 32 bit windows XP, he was running 64 bit linux, and we could chat :) Chances are that if you compile under the same GCC version with the same CPU, you can play spring on a LAN with two linux PCs fine.
The next step is a sync recovery system, but I can't really tell how long that will take...

I may try that in windows later but chances are it won't work if it does i love you. Ive tried renewing it in other ways, resetting the router etc but it only still seems to work in linux...ill try that in a bit, thanks!SinbadEV wrote:As far as linux goes:Benjie the Tech Support Guy Says wrote:START>RUN>CMD>

If you like to know what's posible with Spring on Linux..
Aasmund Grammeltvedt mailed this to us:
"Hi everyone.
I just wanted to share this[1] with you. After all, it wouldn't have been possible without the linux port of Spring. :)
