"resolved" -> yes
for new features / fixed bugs, see also the changelog:
https://github.com/spring/spring/blob/d ... ngelog.txt
when will it come out? weeks or months?
not sure: when its done. http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=3816 is a blocker, but i can't fix / test as i don't have a mac, so help is needed!

also we had/have a performance problem/bug which should be fixed before a release, but maybe is already fixed by jk, see http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=30562

the thread about the performance problem seems inconclusive.

has there been any progress in the mac build problem?

Yes, that's the bug that annoys me most in 94.

there are some recent comments on
- 0003840: [General] Old instance of Spring remains after a Spring.Restart - new.

but none on
- 0003816: [General] *** error for object 0x7fff703a0500: pointer being freed was not allocated *** (osx buildslave) - new.

since 16 june.

how about skipping the osx buildslave issue for 95.0?

3-4 months after the ceg fix was resolved and still no spring 95.

"when it's done"...right?

time to ditch the test builds and revert back to 94.1.

what about using a vote scheme for the next release, letting the game dev teams vote?
each game gets a vote weight depending on average number of player in the last year, and each game can only vote yes or no, do the game devs per team have to come to an agreement first.
there would be a vote for each test-release, and if there is enough yes, then it will be an official release.
this only makes sense as long as there is no multi-engine support that works on all platforms of course, but as long as that does not exit, it makes sense for everyone, even ZK, as it is currently uncomfortable for linux users to play ZK games with the masses, for example.

being idea-guy is so much nicer then doing things!

Sounds unworkable & I don't see anything wrong with current system. There is already plenty of communication between mod devs and engine devs.
