um it says i dont hav the frangment open gl thing that it needs to use the shadows n lightin. where can i get this if i can ?? im runnin an ati radeon 9200 pro. with the latest drivers

Your card isn't good enough. You'll have to live without those features until you upgrade it.

I think that's impossible, unless you start using mesagl software rendering but that is out of the question anyway...

I have a Radeon 9000 standard and it worked after new drivers were installed.

I would guess a 9200 pro would have more built in technology or at least the same!?

apparently ATI has supported GL_ARB_fragment_program for < 9500 cards too.... weird.

For a long time I've been trying to tell SJ that his extension filter system is flawed. I say, remove it completely. When I did that, I could get shadows on my GF4800TiSE, albeit only in windowed mode. I get the feeling there are some kind of "replacement" extensions at work here, that SJ didn't account for in the shadowhandler. Of course, that could lead to stability decrease, but I think it will take effect only at startup, and if it can work it will, if it cant it'll crash. Does anybody else like this proposition?

No I didn't, I upgraded.

Theres also the funny bug of the text not working but if you keep hitting f1 and do something else at the same time it'll start working. Very odd.
