I ran the crash infolog through the stacktracer and it says this:
C:\Windows\system32\ig7icd32.dll 0x00051C02 ??:0
C:\Windows\system32\ig7icd32.dll 0x000504E8 ??:0
any idea what that means?

Re: Running spring on a new laptop
so here is what I found out.
Modern laptops with this "optimus" technology run default to an intel video card. So you have to set in the nvidia controlpanel that you want spring to actually use your graphic accelerator.
However, for all the user who have been showing up with shit intel cards. I think this is what is happening

Re: Running spring on a new laptop
did switching to the nvidia one in the control panel fix it?
Re: Running spring on a new laptop
yeah, Thing gets decent fps. I could have gotten the sli setup with dual nvidia 680m but that would have required moving up to the 18 inch and a 17 inch laptop is as big as I will go. I wanted something more like a mobile desktop.
