lobby dev

Post by Fuel »

Hello all,

I was taking a look to the lobby protocol from: https://github.com/spring/LobbyProtocol ... iption.xml

What I don't understand is what is the IP of the server where I am supposed to connect to run Login command for example.

Thanks!

The domain name of the server is lobby.springrts.com ... you asked for the IP address he gave you the domain name so I can understand some small measure of confusion but yeah... use lobby.springrts.com not an IP address.

... i guess Fuel tried to open it in the browser ...
it is the lobby server, not a web address. your browser uses http, not the spring lobby protocol.

The desired conversion may be effected by a DNS server. Seek one out at your local internet provider!
