What can you except from Electronic Arts?
They ruin everything when they touch something, even with the first slightest touch of it, it is ruined they are like the Grim Reaper bringing Deads to something elsewhere what i canno't think off due to my low brain-cell capacity.

. . .
Reason why Electronic Arts fails:
They shutdown master server quick
Compared to Earth-Net it is STILL RUNNING for over 11! Years

origin sucks up an entire core when i try to play BF3 (it didn't in the beta, so i assumed the full game would behave similarly, and it doesn't for fifa, so what the fock)

so yeah. new comp this week (i was going to anyways for skyrim) but my personal opinion is that yes, at least it works, and doesn't feck up hard like steam has for me

why is your password unusable? surely you can "forgot password" and reset it with your email from your phone or something

i would be interested to play the 360 version just to see holy shat a 40 minute hat trick for mario gomez i love champions league week what they had done with the levels in order to re-size them for 24 rather than 64 players

BF3 on Xbox360....? no wonder your pc wouldn't boot for you! I wouldn't either...

P.S. You can work around origins (sort-of) by setting origins as a steam-game. You then launch origins by steam and BF3 with it. You can use the steam HUD ingame and it all closes when your done playing.

I am not installing origins, no telling what kind of bullshit ea will try and sneak into my machine through it.

I may not like the whole DRM thing and it pisses me off itll only put games on the drive you install to, but Steam actually works.

EA on the other hand have yet to release a single game that doesnt have some major caveat they've added ( EA have yet to add a single major caveat that even does the job properly )

Very good point. PC's are higly sensitive about attention, especially windows. Playing bf3 on xbox360 wtf? is like cheating HER with an old cheap skank!

And now you hit HER for you cheating her and her being jealous?

Somebody please call social services for domestic violence...

and yet you buy, buy, buy, you suck seed at last.

Didnt buy a EA product since C&C:Generals.

Woo Razor!

Seriously, though, I will not let a piece of software like Origin get it's grubby little cyber-fingers on my machine.

Steam made managing my video games convenient, and Valve has yet to abuse the trust other players and I have put into its system. I am willing to pass up on BF3 to keep that convenience.

OT: That sounds like a terrible evening, smoth. Tech failing for no apparent reason always sucks. I hope tomorrow goes better.

That pretty weak bro everyone already knows Origin is crap and there is no evidence of a global conspiracy of the Jewish community to extend their influence in the UN by exploiting the free market mechanics of the modified version of the American constitution signed by THE FOREFATHERS which was cunningly substituted while they were busy sipping there cocktail or whatever is the current state of art tinfoil hat material so 3/10 overall now

VIDEOGAME RAGE THREAD / GENERAL

OH LOOK ANOTHER STEAM WORSHIP VIRAL MARKETING BRAINWASH 1894 THREAD HOW EXCITING LIKE WHEN VALVE FANBOYS CLAIM VALVE WILL PATCH STEAM GAMES TO NOT REQUIRE STEAM WHEN THEY GO OUT OF BUSINES

This popup started appearing a while ago:

Image

In short it said:
"Support for Steam on Windows 2000 will end on August 31st 2010"
"This means you will no longer be able to run steam."

Which is completely fine so then I'm like "OK it's wonderful it lasted so long now I'll stick to single player" THEN THE FATED HOUR COMES AND STEAM TOTALLY COMPLETELY BRICKS HARDER THAN IF I ROOTED MY PS3 THEN UPDATED IT ONLINE XD

NOTICE HOW THEY HAVE OFFLINE MODE BUT NO DONT MAKE STEAM SWITCH INTO IT RATHER ENJOY YOUR DYI MASONRY

It's even better I googled a few days later and there was a thread saying steam was restored working and blamed it on a bug.
A bug. Coded the popup window. Saying Steam will stop working. And then bricked steam. Exactly on the right date. Of, Course it is totally not Valve marketing division "testing the waters" or anything a three headed monkey behind you its the one hiding all the WMDs in Iraq even though they totally had truckloads like Serbia in 1980's with people serving mandatory military service in radiological/biological units used to patrol Sarin nerve gas depots.

And then get mentally ready for the scheduled Steam acolyte Phd disertation on why stuff worth X USD is priced X EUR even though euro exchange rate is 1.3671 USD *_*

Did I mention W2K had a higher desktop market share than all Linux distros together?
