I also posted this in the OS X section, but I thought perhaps it's not OS X specific so I thought I might post here as well. I apologize if that's a no no, just let me know and I will delete post.
Got this weird thing going on that doesn't happen on the windows installations of spring. On any map around elevation changes there are a weird scattering of darker squares.
See attached screenshot.
Any ideas how to make this go away?
I'm using the Spring_{develop}82.8.1-30-g5dbb98b application bundle on OS X 10.6.8.
MacBook Pro, 2.3Ghz i5, 4GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384MB
Also attached is the infolog.txt file, it's unintelligible to me but I'd appreciate anything you can glean from it!
Interestingly enough the squares go away when using resource view (or whatever it's called when it highlights metal and geothermal).
Thanks for any ideas folks.

locking this so there will not be two parallel discussions.
you could also report it on bugtracker: http://springrts.com/mantis/my_view_page.php
good luck with getting it to work :)
