So this game is a little old, but I finally picked it up a number of weeks ago. I really like it, it definitely brings me back to the days of playing the SNES I borrowed. Despite its "antiquated" design, plot, or whatever you want to call it, I'm really enjoying it.
Wondered if anyone else ever played this?

Its gameplay is nothing like MC. I would argue it's art style is not like MC. Pixelation =/= Minecraft.
Its gameplay is pretty much copy-paste old school Zelda, probably A Link to the Past if you had to narrow it down to one game. Top-down adventure game. You get a sword and shield, you find a boomerang in the first dungeon, you later find something that is basically a hookshot, and there's even a (far less) annoying fairy that tells you stuff from time to time.
It pokes fun at itself and what it is, which just makes it light-hearted fun. The "story" is that the 2D kingdom of Dotnia becomes bored with 2D and sees all of the other 3D worlds, so the king orders everything to become 3D. NPC's often remark on this. An early-game NPC complains that its harder to clean in 3D, because of the extra dimension. Its funny and kind of goofy, but I enjoy it.

well i mean that whole environment is made of blocks. stuff looks interesting, gonna take a look.
