Morning everyone, I have a game breaking problem. During a match, the game will experience short periods(maybe 1-15 seconds) of audio stutter and freezing. Usually this is followed with the game fast fowarding to catch up with the other players. However, when it gets to the point of a match where the big battles start, the game will freeze with the audio stutter and then I'll disconnect after a few seconds.
At this point I usually tab out the game to see if there's something wrong with my connection(using wireless btw). Turns out that the game somehow gave me limited connectivity to my router which is only fixed when the adapter is reset.
Any help would be deeply appreciated, because it's frustrating to end up disconnecting at the best part of a match everytime.
Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Intel(R) Core 2 Duo @ 2.13GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB
Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN
Realtek High Definition Audio
*I do have the latest drivers for my network adapter, sound card, and graphics card
Also, if an infolog is needed, I'll upload the one I get for my next multiplayer game, but right now I'm going to sleep. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
I guess the audio stutter is not the cause of the problem but just a symptom of something else like high cpu load while "catching up."
F6 disables sound if you want to test without or it annoys you..
Does it say something about "hang detection triggered" during that phase? (might want to look in infolog.txt and also post that)

I didn't see any hang detection triggered while I was in the game or in the log, but you were right the audio stutter is just a symptom. So is it just possible that my computer just isn't fast enough?

Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
Yes, but unfortunately that didn't help either
Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
does a replay of such a game lead to the same problems?
maybe only your network connection is broken...
did you try to lower your graphics-settings?

Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
Replaying a game still has the problems of the audio stutter/freezing, and lowering detail didn't have an effect either. I guess it really is a sound/network problem because the freezing will sometimes occur towards the beginning of a match too.
Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
maybe your computer is getting to hot?
if the problems occur at random, it is caused often by hardware/driver problems.
you're problem description is incomplete... if playing the demo leads to the same error than you're network connection shouldn't be the problem.
did you try to run in windowed mode? what does the taskmanager says about process usage?
did you look into the windows-event log?
can you please attach infolog.txt?

Re: Multiplayer Connection Problems/Sound Problems
I don't know if it's a heat problem, the hottest my CPU has gotten is 63 C (using CoreTemp to check) though I don't know how hot is too hot.
I have looked at the Event Viewer, however most of the events(under the System group) are regarding my network adapter and have unknown descriptions(The description of Event ID 50XX from source NETwNs64 cannot be found). The events usually appear after I've disconnected from a multiplayer match.
The reason I put 50XX is because I get more than one Event code after I disconnect. Just in case, here's what usually appears:
This post has an info log from a replay while one of my first post have an info log from a match. But neither have the Spring hang detection triggered

maybe try to force a lower speed of your wlan-card, setting to 10mbit often solves such problems. (as the internet connection mostly is slower, this doesn't slow down anything...)
