New Map : Greenwold Ghaut

So i made a new map. It was mostly a project to relearn the trade and the new things, but i hope it turns out to be fun.

Its a 4 way map, suitable for 1v1 2v2 or 4 way ffa.

There are suprises in the corners, watch out!

Thank you Smoth & Beherith for being extra patient and helping! Thanks knorke for teleporter lua!

Indeed nice trees and nice texture :shock:
What size is it? From the metalspots iam guessing something like 14x14?
Cool that you got teleporters to work i dont even weee! \o/

Otherwise I like it but its got the common flaw, of texture not indicating where units can go. Having to press f2 constantly isn't nice.

Thanks for the comments! I dont know how to lua metal spots, otherwise i would do it. You are right about how the texture should be more indicative of passability, i will try to fix that in future maps.

I must be really oblivious.. i test runned the game and picked up a com with an atlas and flew it around and dgunned some features... can't find the teleporters. Where are they, jw?

I thought the suprises in the corners were just the radar dome + antenna features.. couldn't find a tele anywhere

move a kbot to the very corner, it will be teleported to the corner opposite

it has nothing to do with the features really, those are just there for show. Be sure to move to the very corner of the map.
