Spring.exe wotn end process

Everytime I run spring and exit without crashing, spring.exe continues to run in the background doing nothing in task manager, stopping everythign else that uses OpenGL or videos from playing, my computer gets all annoying when the screensaver comes up, and a second instance of spring freezes and wont unfreeze till the first one is endtasked.

This error has occurred in every version I've played since the first public release.

That explains alot...

I sometimes play on a shared pc at work, after hours of course. The next guy to use it always complained that the graphics were screwed, when I had been on it. I suspect this may be the real cause.
