Setting up a LAN game?

Post by BurgaFlippinMan »

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone can guide me in setting up a LAN game over my home wireless network. I've got two computers with Spring installed. I've also downloaded the TASserver_0152.zip file, though I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Do both computers need it? Do I extract it into the TA Spring directory? After that I just have to run the .bat file? sorry, but i'm a total newbie at this. Thks!

extract TASserver_0152.zip where you want. Then launch lanServer.bat on one machine.

Once that done, just launch TASClient on every machine, and in the option, in "server address", write the IP (or the name of the computer) of the computer that have launched lanServer.bat

We should really make a step by step guide in the wiki for this.
