lobby crash on downloader, springdownloader won't be downoad

I've this problem going on:

spring lobby crashes when I try to start a download

error is: assertion failed

downloader.cpp line 113 expression == ret == CURLE_OK

so I tried spring downlaoder, which crashes because it's only the installation executable and the urls it points to it's not currenty working

message is:
An error occurred trying to download 'http://planet-wars.eu/sd/SpringDownloader.application'.

so, can anyone put up a spring downloader while the url is borked and the problem gets fixed?
