Spring crashes every time when loading textures

Hey everyone, I've been spending the last three days or so trying to get this to work... I've been trying on the latest release and on 82.2.1, but I don't know if either one has brought any progress.

Everything works great until the load screen reaches "Loading unit textures," and then it crashes without question. Infolog records an "access violation," but I can't figure out anything further. A copy is attached below.

What could I be doing wrong? Thanks.
