Array overflow bug

Post by TradeMark »

When i type "/give 1000 something" and point my mouse near the right/bottom edges of the map, it will spawn units that went outside of the map at the opposite side of the map.

I think its worth checking, might be linked with some other bugs as well.

Array overflow is a catastrophic failure that can lead to massive security exploits, allowing remote people to run arbitrary executables against the target.

So basically, your post was saying "Spring is in danger of murdering your computer and letting other players steal your bank account info by".

Which, to be fair, it probably is... but no more than any other multiplayer game.

I've noticed every now and then some weird behaviour between the corners of the maps. The odd explosion in one corner may cause a small flicker in the other.

Pretty unrelated but I had a game once where an enemy Com flew my base, dgunned some stuff and as he was flying away, my AA killed his trans and it dropped the Com out of the map and it just vanished. No more Com. Was lol cause there was no explosion or anything...
