I have discovered NOTA in tha past week and was most impressed by its appearance and modifications, especially in regards to naval warfare.
However, I am not familiar with Spring or much in the way of third party software. I have attempted to install the program, and am without success.
What particular files and/or maps\mappacks do I need to install to successfully initiate NOTA.
A second question I have pertains to the artificial intelligence, how does its application work? Do I need to download sepcific AIs
In short, are there specific walkthroughs to initiate Spring gaming or is someone willing to assist me?

The error you get there indicates a problem with your graphics. try to play around with your spring settings, eg. try to disable all extra graphics stuff, and try to use different water settings.
The AIs that come with spring should all work with at least BA, though AAI and E323AI need config files for the very version of the mod you want to play. I do not know which AIs will work for NOTA (E323AI definitely not). I would recommend to try RAI first, and then KAIK.
