SpringLobby SP Crash

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (32 Bi)t with 1 gig of RAM (It comes up as a little less than 900mb due to the on-board video), a 2.1ghz dual-core AMD 64 X2 4000+ Processor and an on-board GeForce 6100. Spring itself is the latest version (As far as I know) Installed from the website only about 24 hours ago and SpringLobby is version 0.61.

My problem is that when I try to play SinglePlayer..The BA mod (v7.04) or the Gundam RTS mod (v1.21) with any AI (Zeon and Fed for Gundam, of course) or map combination always results in the same thing. I can spectate, it crashes or I could set myself to play too and it crashes.

The crash occurs whenever I go to start a game with a small window saying "The game has crashed. Open Infolog.txt?" The contents of which I have put below.

I'm not sure if its worth mentioning but I had run Spring.exe directly prior to realizing I should be using SpringLobby to run things..And when I did run SpringLobby it would not update and I installed the latest version manually. (Edit) By manually I mean I went to the link SpringLobby provided and downloaded rather than having SpringLobby download it for me, sorry if that caused any confusion.

I've also tried running SpringLobby in Admin mode and/or in XP Compatibility Mode as its usually one of those two things that have helped me fix other things in the past, but neither worked (Otherwise I wouldnt be posting) Hopefully you guys'll be able to help. :P

That looks like the infolog of game that lasted 45 mins and ended without any issue. :?:

Strange, thats the infolog its been giving me. Unless it logged when I played Spring.exe directly beforehand and never wrote a new one.

(Edit) Apparently my SpringLobby isnt writing new infologs, so its likely that the infolog I've provided is incorrect, what could cause this and how can I get one that may actually show something wrong?

Possibly the infolog ends up somewhere else, search your disk...

my first thought is that it's crashing before creating an infolog... like perhaps SpringLobby is reporting a crash when really the program failed to run or something...

Theres only one file called infolog.txt on my entire computer..I've tried deleting it to see if it'll just make a new one, but it just says not found and even if I put a blank infolog.txt file there it simply stays blank.

Not sure whats going on. :cry:


(Edit) I've brought up Windows Task Manager and put it off to the side to see whats going on, when I hit Start it just says that it crashed, but if I set the preferences in SpringLobby to "Use old launch method" I can see spring.exe on the list of processes for a brief moment when I hit start, but it dissapears and I get no notification that it crashed.


(Edit 2) I have reinstalled Spring and SpringLobby went back to whatever versions included with it. However it updated this time and the problem persists with version 0.43..However when I try to update to 0.61 it says "Fatal Error: Mismatch between the program and library build versions detected. The library used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,wx containers,compatible with 2.6), and your program used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,wx containers)."
Then if you hit OK it says. "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." Then springlobby_updater.exe crashes.

I'm not sure if it'll solve the problem but I'm going to see if I can update my Visual C++ Runtime Library and see if that'll do the trick. It may be a different version (As this one is 0.43 doing this) but it may also be related to the problem I'm having with 0.61.



(Edit 3) Spring isnt writing any new infolog.txt files. I've made a blank one but it remains blank..and I've changed the one that I posted earlier slightly and it shows the change. Its not logging anything for some reason..But it'll log if I run spring.exe alone.
