Ehh...tonight I'm doing audio for some comedian and then probably going next door to the crappy on-campus bar and getting dronk. Tomorrow will consist of me doing my OOP project and probably my graphics assignment. Sunday, lots of sleep and then going to a movie.

Going to watch Daybreak. I want to watch The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, but it isn't playing at the moment. I think I'm going to buy that movie when it comes out on DVD if I like it:

There's a really sweet story about the making of the movie too. The main actor of the movie died while the movie was being filmed and a lot of the the actor's friends who were very famous decided to help finish the movie in remembrance of their friend.

I'm also doing some homework, researching a biology topic for one of my classes, growing a bonsai tree, doing my regular exercises, playing video games, and getting some work done.

Go to band practice, play some metal, finish writing 2 new songs that we have on the table, prepare for a show next month. Finish practicing seriously and then get wasted on vodka and anything I can find to mix it with while serenading a beautiful 5 ft 105lb blonde haired beauty with any songs that come to mind. And by serenade I mean play music all night drunk off my ass having fun.

The grand purpose of course to get drunk and then screw her brains out (neither of which will be particularly difficult).

Full Metal Alchemist is a good series. If you haven't seen it, you two might want to watch Vision of Escaflowne too. It's a pretty well known series, so you may have seen it already, but if you haven't, you should check it out.

No wonder my band never went anywhere, we were doing it backwards! (well, I don't drink, but the other guys were typically drunk before we started playing.

I tried both of them - bad English voice actors and the typical glacial pace of anime turned me off.... it's a shame, since they both look rather good, but I find I can't watch most anime for those reasons. That and the post-Pokemon trend of way way way too much expository dialogue infected Fullmetal. I don't need to hear you explain the complete metaphysics of the setting, with added captions, twice an episode.

I don't mind the slow pace of a lot of animes, especially if it's something by Makoto Shinkai, but there are some good more fast paced animes out there.

I usually just skip the anime recaps, but I get why they're there. I'm sure that when it airs in Japan as a series, some of the viewers need the recaps.

"The Tower of Druaga" is a more fast paced anime. Maybe you would like it. It's about a group of sorcerers and swordsmen scaling a treacherous 60 floor Tower that is infested with slimes, dragons, tentacled (can't leave the tentacles out :-) ) beasts, and when they reach the top they have to face the demon, Druaga. I liked it. It had mystery, action, and the animation was good. I thought that the voice acting was descent too.
