Spring Downloader location
I reciently noticed that maps nad mods that I download with Spring Downloader do not show up in the maps or mods folder, yet those mods and maps show up in TAS client and spring lobby. I would like to know where these maps and mods I download are going because I want to backup some of them to another location.

Re: Spring Downloader location
Actually all the stuff from spring downloader goes into the packages folder instead of mods.
The mods are stored in a bunch of .sdp files instead of .sdz.

Re: Spring Downloader location
Well its more complex than that.
Downloader downloads 3 basic kinds of things:
* maps and mods as sdz - these go to mods and maps
* maps and mods in pool format (rapid) - these go to pool and packages folders
* lua widget - these go to luaui folder
Now where these maps/mods folders actually are depends on your spring installation. It can either be where your spring.exe is, or it can be in documents and settings or ~/.spring
SD searches for these folders and picks first writable one as its destination.
