Linux terrain textures

Post by Katarn15 »

I downloaded Spring and the Kernel Panic mod for Fedora 10. However, when I start the game, the map is untextured and white. All the maps appear this way. However, on my Windows machine, this same map has a texture of a yellow grid on a black background. The units are textured just fine on both machines, and the game runs well too. How can I resolve this terrain issue?

I don't think that that will solve the problem, as I can see the models' textures. It just the map that's wrong. Also, I took a closer look, and some of the maps ARE textured, but textured wrong. Instead of the yellow/blue/green grid on black, it's actually very faint green circuit-type patterns on grey.

Oh, and another thing. If I build on a datavent, the correct terrain texture appears below the building.

Sure it's not the building ground decal texture rather the actual ground texture?
