My game crashes everytime before even starting to download. When I copy the script file from FILES/MYGAMES/SPRING to C/PROGRAM FILES/SPRING/spring.exe it starts downloading and I can play. However, I can't watch replays with that method.
Should the script file be in the same folder than the spring.exe? If yes, how could I get the script file to be created in the correct folder?

yes, script.txt is usually created in the smae dir as spring.exe, under windwos.. strange that it is not for you...
what lobby are you using? can you post an infolog.txt of a failed game?
also... i dont know what you mean with downloading, maybe yo umean loading the map and mod?

it should work just fine. post infolog.txt.
my guess is something is wrong with permissions and/or UAC. you might want to reinstall somewhere that isn't program files, but before you do, post infologs.

With downloading I meant loading actually...it crashes immediately before the game even starts to load. I use spring lobby (only BA) and I have the latest versions.

With downloading I meant loading actually...it crashes immediately before the game even starts to load. I use spring lobby (only BA) and I have the latest versions.
