Springlobby and Springsettings processes do not terminate

Post by Pxtl »

Okay, this is weird, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get a good answer for this. It happens in Ubuntu 9.10, using the version in the Ubuntu Software Center - I'm working on a Mono-based launcher app for PURE (and anybody else who wants to use it). The app can launch SpringLobby and SpringSettings, and some other stuff.

Here's the problem - when I run SpringLobby or SpringSettings under Linux, their processes remain running when closed, and so my app does not receive notification that they are terminated and cannot resume.

(will repost to SpringLobby website).

edit: just noticed that SL version in Ubuntu reps is 0.23 - that's really, really old. Not going to post to the SL website since that's probably a bad idea... who maintains the Ubutnu packages?
