Spring forum update problems

It tells me there is a new version out, I tell it to get it, but once its done, and I close the program and start again, it doesn't remember me getting the update.

I use Vista.

The user preference is set to Full Control.

Searched the forum, but didn't find a solution.

Probably you're talking about SpringLobby.

You can download any version manually & unpack it into Spring folder.

Thank you. Yes, Spring Lobby. I got it, and http://springlobby.info/windows/buildbot/ the necessary files unzipped in the right place now.

Just got to wait for someone to play Complete Total Annihilation on the server with me now. I like missiles hitting ground units.
