Single player failure

I am new to this (but have played a lot of TA) and can't seem to get the single player setup to work. Can I find a description somewhere on how to start up single player mode? I am trying to use balanced annihilation.

I select a map and click on add bot (does not seem to get any feedback). Then I start the game. Immediately after the game starts it exits with the message "you won!".

Help or pointers appreciated! This looks really promising so I am eager to try it out.

Hi!

Make sure you set the bot to a different ally and ID so your in different teams. I dont know what mod your using, but BA is currently the most popular TA based mod. I recommend using KAI or RAI with it. Also, remember to set the option fixed start positions.

if you still are not able to get it running, please tel us what lobby you are using, there is SpringLobby and TASClient.
Also, it is better (more comfortable, more options) to start singleplayer games ( -> games against bots) in the multiplayer tab of the Lobby. this applies for both lobbies.
When using the multiplayer tab, make sure to use a password whe nhosting the game, if you want to make sure that others do not join your game.

If you accept that Spring may not automatically mean TA in 3D, and run Windows, try Kernel Panic Installer. I built a noob-proof single player for it.
