And It's really great! Haven't tried the multiplayer yet because even the singleplayer is so addicting.
For those who are not familiar with these games: It's governing "simulator" kind like Total war series, but concentrated more on governing and diplomacy and such. This one is located in time between 280 B.C. and 27 B.C. from pyrhic wars to the first Emperor Augustus battle against Antonius.
The charm lies in characters and the dynamics of different types of Governments just to mention early Roman republic and the struggle of power between backstabbing senators.
More over, what fascinated me, was not the Rome, which i later found a bit too easy and boring, but the small barbarian or eastern kingdoms, which you can govern succesfully to superpower like in spirit of ancient Rome. Actually, Rome here in the beginning is pretty small republic consisting of small "polises," which you can later unite to big Empire.
