icon widget bug
I think the icon widget has a slight bug in it (see screenshot)
At least some of the icons remained even when the units were in sightRe: icon widget bug
Have you seen this one?
When you're between the range where units show up and the icon shows up, units sometimes turn to little blocks of static. Don't know if that's cause by a widget or engine problem or what.Re: icon widget bug
This is called far-texture, and it is an engine future, and that it does not work is an engine bug. The bug report for it is here:AreaFire wrote:Have you seen this one? When you're between the range where units show up and the icon shows up, units sometimes turn to little blocks of static. Re: icon widget bug
System:
Dell Latitude D820 running Windows 7 Professional (32 bit)(release)
Intel Core Duo T2600 @ 2.16 GHz
2x2GB DDR2 PC6400
Nvidia Quadro NVS120M (GeForce Go 7400 with professional stuff)
Try not to laugh... it's old but it's gotten me through my first 3 years of college. New one coming next year!
Adding to bug report next.... done.

Re: icon widget bug
engine bug not widget. the widget doest draw the icon themself, it limits to replace the picture in memory ( you can test yourself by disabling the widget after being loaded and the replaced icons will still be in place )bartvbl wrote:I think the icon widget has a slight bug in it (see screenshot)At least some of the icons remained even when the units were in sight
