for example, when i first build 1 flea, and then move my cursor to build 100 warriors; when i click, my mouse goes back to the flea build pic position and adds there 100 fleas.
it doesnt make any sense, why does it move the cursor back. i had it there, but now its not there... really makes me insane.
this same problem happens with unit orders too, sometimes it misses some key presses such as "shift" and that means my builder will build just 1 building, instead of 20.
not sure is this because of lag... might be cause of my shitty GFX card and the lag... but still, it should not miss key presses no matter how laggy it is :/ cant that be made in separate thread to avoid this or something...?

not sure is this the same problem as the "first letter *almost* always misses" topic...

Some clicks indeed seem to miss the buttons, but I'm not sure I have the specific problems you describe. A related thing that annoys me is that you cannot click buttons in the gui too quickly. I guess each click has to round-trip to the server before it takes effect.
For instance, if you want to change from Maneuver to Hold Pos, it will be like:
Click
Wait for it to switch to Roam
Click
Done

Not the click itself, but the status change has to happen in sync of course.zerver wrote:Some clicks indeed seem to miss the buttons, but I'm not sure I have the specific problems you describe. could we fix this somehow? like, dont force it to wait the status change at all, so basically your units would seem to have "hold position" but actually they are still in "roam" status, and after few secs it finally sends the newest status and you see same what others could see. This would give a lot more speed in your playing, since you dont need to wait the orders anymore.Auswaschbar wrote:Not the click itself, but the status change has to happen in sync of course.
I also have been thinking that the order of the commands should be changed, so when you click the status change, the next will be "hold position" not "roam" since nobody uses "roam" ever.zerver wrote:For instance, if you want to change from Maneuver to Hold Pos, it will be like:
