I need a community help on my here problem with lobby connection.

Damn damn damn my lobby connection! What the hell is wrong with it? Sometimes it works perfectly, and then overnight - not working or lagging and dropping like hell.

Typical behavior:

Launch Springlobby, it writes: "Connecting to Sever official server... connected to official server..." and that's it. No player list in main, no server welcome note, no battle list. After some (about 2 mins or more) time the msg box (Yes/No/Cancel one) pops up saying that connection could not be established.
Sometimes (once in 2 hours) it does show me the battle list, and i can even join battles for about 2-4 minutes, and if a battle starts during this time - I'll play fine. Then the connection drops again.

Smth I did:
ping to taspringmaster is fine (135 ms), maybe one dropped ping packet in about 40-50.
Tracert - hmm well it does trace the route, could not device any useful information from it.
telnet to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com 8200 shows server msg (version and such) immediately


So, any ideas? Where is the problem? How can I investigate into it? Any help appreciated! Think of all the Israelis you can help with just a little effort!


NOTE: if i manage to get ingame, I can play without problems! Internetz also work as they should, delivering first-class warez and prons fastly and properly to my computer.

download a program to reduce the mtu of your card

start with something low like 300-400 then keep raising until it stop working again

if it's the mtu, the fault is in some node between you and the spring server ( read: nothing you can do about, probably calling your ISP won't change anything ), all you can do is wait and eventually the situation will fix by itself even with full mtu (1500), problem is when ...
