- Posting negative threads regarding issues for which you don't provide or seem to expect a ready solution, especially those which could be considered rabble-rousing or geared to stir up masses to harmful inaction, will be considered a form of intentional disruption and punished accordingly.

Negative threads, at times ranting threads, are the only way to get to talk some issue.

How do you calificate what is negative?

I can point out lots threads that look negative or ranting, dont provide a solution, are repetitive and insistent, but address a real bug or problem that is key for a better gaming experience.

This rule lends itself for moody interpretation, and censorship.

- Private disputes and disagreements should remain between those they concern directly. Public disruptions regarding private matters can be considered intentional and warrant discipline. This includes discussing and contesting moderators' actions regarding you.

When you have been mistakenly moderated, you can personally resolve this issue by pm or by talking to other moderators.

When this behaviour is repetitive and abusive, it consists of bad moderation, and then the involved parts have the rigth to make this bullying behaviour public, to expose the problem and get help from the comunity.

What you are stating in that rule, is you dont have the right to complain in public, which is censorship.

This forums are not under militar jurisdiction nor police state, we have the right to speak freely, and to discuss moderation in public if needed.

Im not an expert in this matters nor a lawyer, but it seems you are taking a wrong path with this, and needs review.

Not that i care too much, about zillion rules, i rather good comon sense and open dialog.

Posting here is a privilege, not a right.

Those guidelines are in place to protect the community, not so mods can go on crazy power trips. In fact, the mod team here does a good job of keeping shit in order.

I agree. The mos team is overworked as it is, don't give them BS about rules please. If they start abusing their power we can all just go to FGJL.

negative ranting threads can still be constructive, but threads which appear to be posted solely for the purpose of putting an individual or project down aren't really appreciated.

it's all subject to moderator discretion... harmless threads probably won't get split.

if a moderator is being abusive, it definitely concerns the entire moderation staff.
it does *not* need to concern a lynch mob consisting of people with no power to actually solve anything.

please name one person in the community who is not a member of the admin or moderation staff and can do anything more than *talk* about problems.
