The top and bottom areas have decent amounts of metel, but the middle lower areas have to move more towards the center for the metal on the plateaus and the metal between them.
Kbots can climb up the Plateaus. Texturing was a cross between L3DT and photoshop (I just used l3dt for the base texture then laid textures in photoshop).
Generally I try for very natural terrain (if you are even remotely familiar with my maps you already know this), but here I wanted to try something a little different, which is why the texturing is drastically different as well.
