[Request] Copy/Paste Build Orders

Post by ell »

I think it would be a usefull tool because you could make a little base thing (eg an anti-air station, four turrets surrounded by walls) with some freakers or small contruction units and instead of keep having to make this again and again you could just copy the area of interest (the anti-air thing) and then paste where you want it, it would just add it the the end of the build queue. Sorry If I'm not being very clear and also thanks in advance! ell.

Already done.

It does not work as macro though. Does not let you move the queue around. I'm only ever using it for saving queue of constructors that are likely to get killed. Wouldn't be very useful to just spam identical fortress thing everywhere anyway. You need to adapt to terrain etc.

Well that won't be possible in the templates widget because you can't select features(walls) ingame. I think people will live with it fine. :)
