Constant lock-ups?
For some reason whenever I'm in the middle of a battle, I'll start getting a one second freeze every three seconds. During those three seconds I'm getting a great frame rate, then it freezes, any solutions?
Re: Constant lock-ups?
possibly caused by shorewaves in bumpwater.
btw I reimplemented those last week in git, so shorewaves should be for free in the next release.

Re: Constant lock-ups?
That doesn't help at all.
Re: Constant lock-ups?
Put gfx settings to a minimum, disable all widgets, LUA shaders, ....

Re: Constant lock-ups?
Its funny, you wouldn't expect something as simple as Spring take more of my Nvidia resources than Crysis would. Oh well, hopefully the devs add support for Quads and Nvidia cards
Re: Constant lock-ups?
there's a multithreaded version in testing....
though, my quad stays above 60fps at high settings without issues on the singlethreaded version

Re: Constant lock-ups?
I'm pretty sure zerver's telling to to turn off extra features to see if any of them is causing the bug you're experiencing... Not because Spring has higher system requirements than Crysis.InfernalDemon wrote:Its funny, you wouldn't expect something as simple as Spring take more of my Nvidia resources than Crysis would. Re: Constant lock-ups?
I have the same problem - but only after I alt-tab out and then back in. After that the problem persists and doesn't go away until I restart spring. Checking/Unechecking "fix rendering on alttab" doesn't do much.
