Whenever I try to update the spring lobby, i use springlobby.exe, after just installing spring, I get an error, i've attached a photo below.
I'm on Vista, but i don't think this should be a problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Run SpringLobby as Administrator (right-click on the icon and click "run as administrator). When running as a normal user, SpringLobby does not have permission from the OS to replace itself.

springlobby is now capable of asking admin permissions to update, but ofc the version he has doesn't, all he has to do is update manually once
