PreGame couldn'y find any mod files.

I'm sure there's a basic answer to this but as the title says PreGame couldn't find any mod files, I'm not sure what I need but the ReadMe Getting Started Section says I need to download a regular installer which I cannot find, help is appreciated.

It sounds like you downloaded the bare bone engine, but still need the "mod", that is, a set of data and unit and weapons and structures and textureds and models and stuff. Look into there, pick one, and it comes into .sd7 or .sdz form, dump it into the /mods/ subfolder of your Spring folder.
