I hope there will be soon a skirmish IA.
Ask zaphod, he is soon to release one.

I hope there will be an easy way to set up a solo skirmish game...

It's easy enough, just run the Spring EXE, not the client, and it'll ask if you want to be server. Say yes, and select AI, and then map.

with 10'000 10'000 ressource?
with 2 or 3 IA?
With commander ends?
