FileUniverse update. Membership in place

I know that many of the members here are frequent uploaders/downloaders at FileUniverse and I just wanted to relay the information to you.

As you know, for quite a while, no one has been able to post comments back there because of some stupid people that kept spamming our pages every day. So now, after a week work, I've set up a membership system that alows people to post comments freely. Not to mention that all posts previously made by your username will be instantly linked to you after registering.

Also, logged in users have the power to edit their own upload entries to an extent and active users, out of which I can name several names on these boards, can (and will) receive additional editing powers to move around their files or even put in charge of entire sections.

However, note that registration is not mandatory for either up or downloading files, only for posting comments.

And hey, you get to upload your own avatar!!
