Laptop error (low-end)

Post by kburts »

my friend is using a laptop, and has a problem with getting spring to work, we were using TAS client, but that would not connect to the server, so we decided to use SpringLobby (which I use) and there is a problem right after loading...

PLEASE HELP

kburts, i may not be able to fix this/help you with this, as i am not familiar with this part of the code...

interesting things from the infolog:

Code: Select all

Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz; 1014MB RAM
SDL: 1.2.13
GL: 1.4.0 - Build 7.14.10.4926
GL: Intel 945GM
GLEW: 1.4.0
BA685.sd7
FinnsRevengeRV4.smf
if it exists, tell him to install a newer graphic card driver. though i can imagine that spring will not ever play well on this system.

same for you, try newer (or older, if you have the newest) graphic card drivers.
if you have an ATI card, enable ATI hacks in spring settings.
