Anyone got Spring working with a ATI Radeon X1270 ?

2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1270 Graphics Adapter
Attempting to run Spring v0.78.2.1

Has anyone got an ATI Radeon X1270 onboard graphics with Spring working ? If you do what driver version do you have ? I have the ATI driver v8.501.0.0. I have problems running Spring I'm wondering if that graphics card isnt compatable or its drivers.

generally spring needs very recent drivers to work correctly, but that depends on the gfx card. the only ATI cards that I know are working 99% fine are the Radeon 4xxx series. there are known problems with certain older cards.
