I was under the impression that spring takes the models and data form my installed copy of TA and uses them in a new engine.
What I don't understand is why several things don't match the original game. Specifically the vulcan cannon. It doesn't seem to operate as it did in TA:CC. To confim my suspicion I tried it. In TA:CC The vulcan draws up to 8000 energy regularly and spikes to 10000 and has an overwhelming fire rate. Meanwhile in Spring it is nowhere near compairable.
My second question is why certain models are GIANT like the vulcan or the Heavy laser tower.
Is there any way I can get the models back to their normal proportions and the vulcan back to its glory? I saw details about an OTA mod but it said it kept the XTA models (which I assume is what made the things GIANT)
I really like Spring but I kinda want to preserve some of what I think made TA neat.
Thanks in advance
Confused about spring's models and stats

Spring comes with all of its own models and if you have TA installed or not doesnt matter.
Units looking and behaving differently then in TA is because Spring uses XTA by default. OTA patch avalible at FileUniverse http://www.fileuniverse.com/?page=showitem&ID=679
About modelsizes you would probably have to modify/make your own mod.
