Re: Springie Autohost
I get the same problem on WINXP when using the springie. I do not have any problems with manual hosting via TAS or using AUTO host in SpringLobby. NAT etc is fine, I have latest spring-dedicated.exe, its configured correctly and shows now errors.
So.. are you on WINXP getting those lock / unlock commands using springie? Does it look like springie goes to host and load spring-dedicated but then stalls? Can you host without spring?
Running this to test spring-dedicated gives the following output.
Does this indicate Spring-Dedicated is working fine with the springie script?
If so, can I run my spring client to connect to this to test the full loop?
spring.exe ??? something??
Any help would be great thanks.

Question...spring-dedicated.exe springie8452.txt
Loading script: springie8452.txt
Starting server...
Server started on port 8452
Connecting to autohost on port 4305
No clients connected, shutting down server

Re: Springie Autohost
Why dont you test it before asking?
Just start dedicated with script and try connecting to it.
Anyway those bugs are always caused by wrong dedicated server version.
Compile it from 77b5 and backport few fixes you need.
Afaik there is no easilly downloadable dedicated properly working server version.
