Windows Replay -> Linux

Post by Stealth870 »

All right, I was trying to record a replay of a game I had under Windows, using Camtasia Studio but the recorder crashed. I decided to try watching the replay in Ubuntu and using another screen recorder, to see if maybe it was more stable.

So I have my Spring in Win and Lin sharing the replay directory. I find my recent game but on launch get an error. The version of the Windows games is 0.77b5-R6842 while the one in Linux is just 0.77b5. Do I have to recompile that specific Spring version or is there a way I could change that replay file to just play properly?

to skip version check from the lobby, use:

spring replayname

or just rename the file so the version it reports is 0.77b5
