Alternative server

Post by Red Dragon »

In case you want to play some Spring but can't get logged on, there's an alternative now:

You can use the Spring Client to log on to the PhoenixWorx server. The main difference however is that you must be a registered user @ phoenixworx.

For further details on the how and what press this link:

Hooray for PW.

Thanks, but isn't this a really bad idea? Has anybody ever had problems actually logging in to the server? Getting into battle rooms, sure (especially recently), games not starting properly, sure, but logging in, no problemo.

Logging in and there being no free players - yes, that's a real problem. The community is still small. With two servers up there's a danger of splitting up the players we do have, making it even harder to get a game.

Really, what is the point of offering an alternative server?

Munch (hoping there's going to be a good answer to this!)

What concerns me is the possibility of having 10 people on SYs server and another 10 on PhoenixWorx, instead of 20 in one server... :?

Solution: make a client that connects to both servers at the same time.
