unitsync.so not found

Post by nevarezz »

I am running Spring on TinyMe (compact version of PCLinuxOS ). I installed the program using the linux installer. Upon entering the SpringLobby (version 0.0.1.10312) I get an error specifying that unitsync.so cannot be found so I cannot play online.

I checked the path specified in the options to verify the file existed. The file is in /home/[username]/Spring/ . This is the path being used. I tried copying the file to a folder specified in another thread (/usr/lib/spring/unitsync.so) and restarting springlobby. The same error occurs.

I then tried building from source and installing the 0.0.1.10342 version. After getting it setup properly. I opened the Springlobby and was given the same error. Again I verified that my unitsync folder was accurate and that it contained the appropriate file.

Is there something else I can try? Its frustrating because it won't even let me play local games. This is because I cannot refresh my mod folder unless i can get into a new game by hosting one. I cannot host because springlobby cant find my unitsync.so.

I would greatly appreciate some help. At the very least, find some way to play single player games.
