Then you should probably download P.U.R.E., see what it does, and read through the quick-and-dirty documentation walkthrough I wrote for Forb... right?

Can't help you, if you won't help yourself. The information is available now, you just need to take advantage of it. I don't have time to write a complete tutorial right now, but it's not like this is impossible or even all that hard, tbh.

well tx argh

And i played that game and it looks very cool

Standard settings just kills my sytem.(but that shitty is my system)

But i had a bit of crism.(try to not make it all about pur here in topic)

But id loved to played a bit brighter and bigger map at start maybe i can provide :D)

And like a first level where the players just get a army and get action fast to show off. Than laterone a complete mission maybe.

Ok that said i probelly ignorent and stupid by asking more information and not read all the treads in forum. But maybe some one could point out some information how to use that worldbuilder. and how to get me some cities on my map.

I am making a photo map and i think with some city on it it would look fast pretty nice. I tend to make it a bit large. over 24x24 but i may settle with a small version aswell. I got a load of features ready., maybe i could donate them somewhere.

tx

i have looked a bit but i coudnt find the documentation you told about

I gave upper left sea alot metal so a sea verses land would eb possible.

I am not at all happy with all i just posting here because i wanna get some ppl to download and test an insane big map in lobby :D

once a guy asked a map of gibraltar so you needed to defend the land. I tried that concept to fit in a bit.

I doing somthing wrong with the features :S

but here are some screens.

I think in the old mapconv i listed it up like this in FS.txt

feature.s3o
feature.s3o

Hi

I made some changes.

@argh i am not to use your features like this i heard you had soem other purpose for it. I will use big flates but i think i wanna make them smaller and maybe a road as texture under them. And i not sure i will be able to use that world buider i think i am too noob for that.

Well i had soem sitbacks.

One of them is that i kinda fail at havinf some harbor features and the other is i not compressing right.

And i think i failed also with the trees they are to much spread out. (maybe because the size of map.

this is the code i used

MapConv.exe -w options.txt -z line.txt -k 5 -b 3 -r 24 -u 24 -x 128 -n -127 -i -l -f featurenetherlandsbeta.png -m metalnetherlandsbeta.png -a heightnetherlandsbeta.png -t texturenetherlandsbeta.png -o netherlandsbeta.smf -c 0.4 -q 100
pause

it took me 10 minutes to load the map.(most of the time initialising the features.)

this are the settings(am i doing to much compression?)

uhm i had a few questions.

Spring really looks awsoem in highest settings. But i kinda miss the grass on maps with lower settings. Is grass taking too much resrces?

If so i think i need to color my map a little darker because i need to fake the grass than. ITs pitty tho.
