Thud +1, WIP, I kept it similar to the original, but not too similar, keep in mind that this is my 2nd inf/kbot :P

Suggestions:

1. One small English thing: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. to nth.
(First, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth in word form)

2. How about a picture of the previous thud model to compare?

Yeah, as I said, I just wanted to get the base shape right, so I could start adding more details later.

Is the CA thud the OTA model? It looks better than OTA somehow... has this already been remodeled once?

I like your model except for the side view where it looks a bit like it's made out of lego. Maybe toning down the crotch would help with this.

The problem is that when I remove it it will look even more skinny and awkward, I can tweak a bit, but removing it will look really, relly stupid

Re-approach the design, then. Look at it as an opportunity to correct that problem with the old model. It's not like there aren't various valid solutions to the problem of visual balance, they just require re-thinking the model, instead of simply reproducing it with a bit more polycount.

Its not bad, but it doesn't really bring anything fresh to the unit Hoi, I mean no disrespect.

Maybe this model will bring some inspiration.
